Here is The Challenge I issued during the exchange:
· Make an origami shirt card for St. Patrick’s Day. (I have added the link from Score-pal.com so that you can see the template.) http://www.scor-pal.com/projects2/index_files/Page418.htm Remember, I said my shirt card wasn’t my original idea…. I wasn’t kidding. I “lifted” the whole idea.
· Use the origami shirt in a different way than shown.
· If you send me your cards by St. Patrick’s Day, in the mail.
We spoke of the next card exchange. It will be The Summer Card Exchange. Please calendar the date: June 6th at 7pm. It will be a snack and stamp/scrap time. This time we may actually get some work done. Let us plan on making 30 cards or less. The same standards apply. We can invite a few more card makers. If we ever get too many people who would like to participate we will divide the groups into 2 separate ones.
I will be issuing a Challenge of the Month. If you are up to it--- send me your card in the mail. I will be thinking up prizes for The Creative Card Maker of the Month. This can be fun. Remember the Bible says there is nothing new under the Sun. That means no idea is ever totally new, so merge several ideas together and come up with your version of a card.
If you are feeling sad that I didn’t come up with a Challenge for the month of February you can try this idea on for size… How about an Anniversary Card? Just kidding Ladies, that isn’t really a challenge. But I do have an idea… several of you have your birthdays coming up. How would we like to send each other “new” (not ones from the exchange) birthday card? If you are game… I know of it least 2 April birthdays coming up. If this is ok by you- send me your birthdate and address and I will share this with our group. I will not be sharing this beyond the 13 women that were signed up to participate.
Email me to confirm that you still want to participate in the next Card Exchange. I will verify 6 weeks prior to the exchange. So if this time wasn’t easy for you- don’t be discouraged and drop out. I believe in “Do-Overs”. If you would like me to email you at a different address please let me know. If you have a friend who would enjoy our Challenges or Exchanges—please forward me their information. Thanks!
Have a wonderful day! I will be seeing you all soon.
